The purpose of the Greater Midwest Livestock Auctioneer Contest is to promote the Profession of Auctioneering in a positive manner.  All contestants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the contest.  All contestants must be employed or sponsored by a Registered Livestock Auction Market.

     The contestants will be judged by a panel of Five (5) Judges who are experienced in the livestock marketing industry.  Contestants will compete in a preliminary round, and the Top Ten qualifiers will advance to a Final Round. Successful contestants advancing will receive a plague.

     The Top Three Contestants in the Final round shall receive the following:  

         First Place      -- $1500. cash; Trophy and Championship Belt Buckle
         Second Place --  $750. cash; Trophy and Belt Buckle
         Third Place    --  $350. cash; Trophy and belt Buckle
